This experiment makes visible the agency of viscosity. Processes such as plaster and concrete casting demand anchoring, taping, nailing, bolting, to prevent casting elements from drifting along with the forces of pouring and settling. Within the wooden frame above, metal tube segments are tethered to a grid while allowed to drift, making visible the uneven and directional settling of plaster which ultimately takes on the appearance of evenness.
